In 2012, the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation organized the Taiwan Cycling Festival and promoted the Formosa 900 event with the Cycling LifeStyle Foundation, which effectively introduced the Cycling Around Taiwan to the world and attracted countless overseas tourists to fulfill their dreams of cycling around Taiwan.
In 2024, the Year of the Dragon, the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and the Cycling Life Style Foundation will jointly award the Cycling Around Taiwan certification for the purpose of promoting Cycling Around Taiwan and to encourage and assist cyclists, domestic and abroad, to commemorate their precious Taiwan cycling experiences with certificates.
Enjoy the sights of Taiwan at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour, taste local food, experience different customs and places, and have in-depth appreciations for the beauty of Taiwan. We hope that everyone will fall in love with Taiwan through low-carbon cycling tour.
After completing the Cycling Around Taiwan, and the Cycling LifeStyle Foundation confirms the completion of the tour, customized services can be provided based on mapping of the cycling routes, cycling photos, names, etc., and a Cycling Around Taiwan certificate can be issued.
